ANDROMEDA:  THE ENTITY

Within the depths of cosmic imagination lies the Andromeda Galaxy, not as a distant celestial neighbor, but as a realm of fantastical wonder.  In this realm, the stars twinkle not just with light but with an inherent magic;  their energy weaves intricate patterns throughout space.  The planets, vibrant and diverse, are not merely orbiting bodies, but worlds brimming with unique life forms and untold secrets.

At the heart of this cosmic tapestry lies Andromeda, a powerful and ancient entity whose very existence is intricately intertwined with the galaxy's fate.  Andromeda is not a ruler in the conventional sense, but a cosmic consciousness that orchestrates the intricate balance of the galaxy.  The planets are her expressions, each a unique facet of her being, and their inhabitants, the Andromedans, are woven into her intricate cosmic design. 

Andromeda's control is subtle, a cosmic symphony rather than an iron fist.  The flow of magic, the cycles of planetary life, and the very fabric of reality, including the Andromeda Galaxy, are all influenced by cosmic will.  They whisper tales of influence among the stars.  She nurtures hope in some and crushes opposition in others.

Bound by a cosmic entity, the fantastical Andromeda Galaxy offers fertile ground for imaginative tales and epic journeys within its interwoven systems.

  BEST SELLER:  Krampus Greetings I haven't written an article in sometime;  I have been busy with work, getting stuff ready for the launch of my website in March, and getting sick fairly often!  I wanted to write about one of my best sellers since the Magpie Designs days before it was introduced to the Prismatic Skies website .  Krampus Greetings ! Turquoise & Orange Resin Ghost Lamps

  The Turquoise & Orange Resin Ghost Lamps Hey Everyone!!! Vanessa here!  Just wanted to tell you a little bit about the resin ghost lamps that I am making.  Started these today.  Never made them before.  They're super cute so far, and I am hoping, and thinking they will be, these come out great. The Resin Ghost Lamps I didn't want to do traditional colors completely, but I also really wanted to do orange, because ghosts are typically done in white, clear, and silver.  I am planning on doing a bunch of different colors for more resin ghost lamps. I used Let's Resin turquoise color, and it's more on the green side of turquoise, rather than the balanced green & blue that turquoise typically is. I really like it as of now, but I am curious how it will cure. I'm coming up with some ideas for other ghost lamps that I want to do.  I want to play around with it.   The Girl's Not Grey Anatomical Heart Shaped Wax Melts Creative Process Video I have made a quick video to show you folks part of the creative process that I go through in creating wax melts.  It's not the best video...it's quite frankly my very first video that I have made and edited.  I have a lot to learn but I think I did rather well for it being my first time. I don't want to give too much away of how I create everything mainly because the fragrances that I have are my own custom made blends and I use a variety of different manufacturers, and have worked too hard to share that side of my creative process, but I'm open to showing more when the time comes.  Just certain things will not be shared.   Vanessa Theodore | Prismatic Skies Update for August 5, 2024 Been super busy lately but I do have some updates for everyone!!!  I have been creating tirelessly for the releases coming out for Halloween 2024.  I will have some new blends coming out for the September 1, 2024 release of the Etsy shop, but a lot of my creations have been geared towards the Halloween release. I do have some new oils for the Christmas and Chanukah holidays.  I am also bringing back some of my, "winter," Best Sellers. So what's been going on?   MAGPIE TREASURES CANDLE:  Lemon Scented Candle In Vintage Hobnail Milk Glass Candy Bowl w/Lid I have been making Magpie Treasures Candles since December 2020.  Magpie Treasures Candles are handmade candles that I have created in (typically) vintage, rare, hard-to-find (not always - and they're usually more expensive) glassware. The glassware are typically mugs, cups, bowls, compotes, candy bowls, and the like.  The candles are made from a soy and paraffin wax blend and the fragrances are of my own creation/custom blend fragrances. I do not remember where I got this beautiful piece from, I think I bought it at a Savers here in New Hampshire . I wasn't always the greatest at making candles , but through A LOT of trial and error over the years, I have definitely gotten waaaaaaay better and the pieces have become much more beautiful, along with the fun treasures inside the candle .   Resin Inspiration at Prismatic Skies: December 4, 2023 I’ve been getting inspiration a lot lately by watching unique resin artists videos and want to challenge myself and make a diorama. What do my first diorama be of?  Fantasy?  Dragons? Unicorns? Mermaids?  Woods?  Nautical?  Christmas? Tell me your ideas & I’ll challenge myself to make it! Just Remember, It Has To Be In Resin… Not everything can go in resin for a variety of reasons;  insects can go in resin but depending on the taxidermied insect and how delicate it is because resin can burn some materials.  Real flowers and faux flowers can go in resin.  Real flowers should be dried out first.  Fresh can go in but there will be more likelihood of bubbles, also, the color WILL fade out in resin.  Faux can give bubbles to but they can go in there.  Would be best to get a machine that gets rid of the bubbles - like a vacuum degassing chamber.  Candy can go in, so c...
