If You Dared Asked Yourself This Question...

Sorry?  I guess?  Well, The Vanessa Theodore Art Hub is essentially two things:  1.)  A glimpse into the sanity that is my brain of constant rabbit holes and, "how the hell did I get here?!" and 2.)  A connected source for all of my art businesses in different genres.  

Being the cliche scatterbrained artist, I dabble in many mediums and many genres, so I split them up for those that tend to go towards whatever tickles their fancy the most, and sometimes, my customers/fans/victims love it all.

Since everyone is different, and everyone has different styles and tastes, I try to be as respectful as possible while still remaining true to who I am.  Like with everything that I do, especially if it may be a bit more...taboo, I always give fair warning, and it is up to the consumer if they want to proceed.  With that said, complaints and emails of woes will be read, if I am feeling entertained, or just deleted.  You made the decision to proceed.

If you decide to go into my business for SEX+ where it will be erotic art, blends, etc., and you found the penis or vulva or whatever offensive, that is quite frankly, your problem.  

Anyway,  The Vanessa Theodore Art Hub is not just for my blog, but it's mainly in relation to my shop.

I have created sections clearly marked to make it easier for the consumer.  And this blog is just a guide to help you understand more of what each business has.

The Vanessa Theodore Art Hub:  Is essentially the LinkTree.

Prismatic Skies:  The more consumer, normal people friendly side of my business.  The bigger name of it all.  Beautiful designs, fantastic fragrances, beautiful colors.  Happy.

The Obsidian Manor:  The name should be a dead giveaway, but if it's not, everything is BLACK.  Gothic.  Metal.  Occult.  Sinister.  Dark.  Macabre.  Death.  Satanic.  Still fairly friendly for the normies.

SEX+:  I write a sex blog, I'm in the beginning stages.  I write about everything sex related:  medical, advice, fun topics, taboo topics,  political, activism, education, porn industry, and essentially support for sex workers.  Eventually I would like to turn this into an organization (non-profit) to also have medical help/needs for sex workers, and be a trusted source for victims of rape/seual assault/harrassment etc.  I work in the science field, medical science actually, and everything that I do and write about is typically firsthand knowledge/experience, and/or extensive and excruciating research with backed up analytical data and so forth.  I write FACTS.  Not opinions, when it comes to serious topics.  If I am writing about porn, or otherwise stated, it's opinion-based.  I don't release articles daily, only when time permits.  And I am always looking for writers who are open and willing to write about related topics.  If you are interested in checking out the blog, you can go here.  If you want to take a stab at being a writer for the SEX+ blog, you can contact me on Etsy, that's fine.

Turquoise & Orange Resin Ghost Lamps

  The Turquoise & Orange Resin Ghost Lamps Hey Everyone!!! Vanessa here!  Just wanted to tell you a little bit about the resin ghost lamps that I am making.  Started these today.  Never made them before.  They're super cute so far, and I am hoping, and thinking they will be, these come out great. The Resin Ghost Lamps I didn't want to do traditional colors completely, but I also really wanted to do orange, because ghosts are typically done in white, clear, and silver.  I am planning on doing a bunch of different colors for more resin ghost lamps. I used Let's Resin turquoise color, and it's more on the green side of turquoise, rather than the balanced green & blue that turquoise typically is. I really like it as of now, but I am curious how it will cure. I'm coming up with some ideas for other ghost lamps that I want to do.  I want to play around with it.   The Girl's Not Grey Anatomical Heart Shaped Wax Melts Creative Process Video I have made a quick video to show you folks part of the creative process that I go through in creating wax melts.  It's not the best video...it's quite frankly my very first video that I have made and edited.  I have a lot to learn but I think I did rather well for it being my first time.   Vanessa Theodore | Prismatic Skies Update for August 5, 2024 Been super busy lately but I do have some updates for everyone!!!  I have been creating tirelessly for the releases coming out for Halloween 2024.  I will have some new blends coming out for the September 1, 2024 release of the Etsy shop, but a lot of my creations have been geared towards the Halloween release. I do have some new oils for the Christmas and Chanukah holidays.  I am also bringing back some of my, "winter," Best Sellers. So what's been going on?   MAGPIE TREASURES CANDLE:  Lemon Scented Candle In Vintage Hobnail Milk Glass Candy Bowl w/Lid I have been making Magpie Treasures Candles since December 2020.  Magpie Treasures Candles are handmade candles that I have created in (typically) vintage, rare, hard-to-find (not always - and they're usually more expensive) glassware. The glassware are typically mugs, cups, bowls, compotes, candy bowls, and the like.  The candles are made from a soy and paraffin wax blend and the fragrances are of my own creation/custom blend fragrances. I do not remember where I got this beautiful piece from, I think I bought it at a Savers here in New Hampshire .   The Blogger / Blogspot QR Code Video w/Audio Not only do I get creative with my wax melts, resin products, resin decor, resin art, and fluid art, I also get creative with the ways that I promote my business and my art .  I like to create promotional animation videos , and I have been getting extra creative adding audio to my videos. I taught myself animation, video editing, and audio enhancements in the beginning of the year (2023) while I was home on short term disability recovering from surgery and health complications that followed.  I needed some sort of creative outlet to be able to cope with not having Magpie Designs anymore, and not really being able to move.  So I started to dabble with animation. I still have a lot to learn but I am quite proud of myself in what I have learned and what I have learned being able to apply it to my artwork and to now, to my small business, Prismatic Skies .
